I am happy to report the refrigerator section of my soon-to-be 23-year-old Sub Zero is working just fine. David was very knowledgeable and even took the time to show me where the problem was and how it would be repaired. If you need a Sub Zero repair, he's your man!

CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is leaking water. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected refrigerator defrost drain line for water leaks, found the source of the leak coming from the refrigerator defrost drain. Removed back panel to inspect for clogged drain line. Found the defrost drain restricted with debris. CORRECTION: Cleared the refrigerator defrost drain of debris, operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Wine refrigerator is not working properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected wall outlet for proper voltage, voltage at wall outlet was normal at the time of inspection. Inspected input voltage to compressor, input voltage at compressor was normal at the time of inspection. Inspected refrigerator thermostat cold control operation, found refrigerator cold control failed. CORRECTION: Replaced refrigerator cold control and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports ice maker is not making ice. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected water supply lines for leaks, no leaks from supply lines at the time of inspection. Inspected freezer for proper temperature output, temperature output in freezer normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for proper voltage to the ice maker, voltage to ice maker is normal at the time of inspection. Found voltage to the Ice maker normal however ice maker will not call for water from the refrigerator water valve. Found the ice maker failed. CORRECTION: Replaced ice maker and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.

CONCERN: Customer reports oven door fell off hinges. CORRECTION: RE-Attached oven door and tested, operation normal upon completion. CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not cooling properly. CAUSE: Found evaporator fan blade no longer staying on motor shaft. CORRECTION: Replaced fan blade and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.ation normal upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator seems to run all the time. CAUSE: Found condenser coils clogged with debris. CORRECTION: Clean condenser coils and tested, operation now normal.
CONCERN: Washer is not draining or spinning DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected washer for proper output voltage from washer control to the washer motor, voltage output is normal at the time of testing. Inspected washer pump, Found washer pump failure. CORRECTION: Replaced washer pump and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.

CONCERN: Customer reports oven is not heating DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested for proper voltage from wall outlet to terminal block Voltage good. Tested voltage from terminal block to control, voltage good. Tested voltage from control to ignitor, voltage good. Found oven ignitor has electrical short. CORRECTION: Replaced ignitor and tested, operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports Refrigerator/freezer is dripping water into fresh food section from ceiling. CAUSE: Found refrigeration system low on refrigerant. CORRECTION: Recharged system and tested. Operation now normal. Note: NO GUARANTEE ON RECHARGING SYSTEM. Since a refrigerator that is low on freon has a known leak we cannot guarantee performance of the unit after freon has been refilled. When a welded unit is low on freon it has leaked out, however we cannot determine the rate at which a leak is. Customer has acknowledged that this is a temporary fix only and is not to be considered a long lasting repair.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not as cold as it should be. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected wall outlet for proper voltage output, voltage output normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for voltage input at the compressor, compressor voltage input normal at the time of inspection. NOTE: Compressor was running and cooling unit down. Inspected voltage input at the condenser fan motor, input voltage was normal at the time of inspection. Found condenser fan motor Locked up and not running. CORRECTION: Replaced condenser fan motor and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports washer is not working properly. CAUSE: Inspected washer operation on all cycles, unable to duplicate customer concern. CORRECTION: No repairs made at this time, washer is performing as designed at the time of inspection.
